No. Novek is intentionally a parallel overlay. Wireless LoRaWAN sensors transmit via dedicated 4G gateways, fully air-gapped from the building IT network. Three-week deployment, no rewiring, no BMS rework.

AWS me-central-1 (UAE region). TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest, WireGuard VPN for site-to-cloud links. The asset owner owns all data from day one and can export it at any time.

Typically 2–8 weeks before equipment fails. A proprietary multi-signal analytics stack processes vibration, thermal, electrical, level and drift signatures every 1–10 minutes — well before threshold-based BMS alarms fire.

Yes, as a secondary benefit. The platform's primary purpose is early-warning failure detection, but the same continuous data on HVAC performance, energy consumption and commissioning quality maps directly to Al Sa'fat (Dubai) and Estidama Pearl (Abu Dhabi) criteria — producing an auditable evidence trail rather than a one-shot commissioning report.

A CMMS records what FM technicians say they did. A BMS controls setpoints and produces threshold alarms based on instantaneous readings. Novek measures what equipment is actually doing over time — degradation, drift, multi-signal anomalies — and catches failure modes weeks before threshold alarms fire, independently of either system, with findings translated into AED exposure for the asset owner.
